Sanitized Cleaning Service
At this time we are offering a special “Sanitized Cleaning” and hope you will all take advantage of making sure you home is as sanitized as we can get it for you. This cleaning consists of a thorough sanitizing wipe down of all commonly touched surfaces and objects.
The cleaning will include: Doorknobs on all your doors, the bathroom surfaces and faucets, kitchen appliances, cabinet handles and doors where you might touch them, counter tops, your computer mouse, keyboard and remote-control devices. Table tops throughout the house and backs of wood chairs that would be touched to move in and out for seating. Light switches throughout the house and fan chains if reachable. Hand rails in stairwells will also be cleaned.
For optimal sanitizing results, this cleaning must take place immediately after our regular cleaning. You can’t sanitize on top of dirt. Our test showed that a 2500 Sq. Ft. single story house will take a little over 1-1/2 hours to sanitize. Each house is different depending on furniture, appliances and of course square footage and number of stories.
We are offering this special cleaning for $26.50/hour for the extra time we are sanitizing, which will cover the cost of the new products we have purchased that sanitize when used and will kill the Corona Virus and others that may be in your home.
Food and Drug Pick-up and Delivery Service
During this state of National Emergency, when the less contact we have with other people the better, one of our clients cared enough to give us some “seed” money. Inspired by their generosity, my wife and I are adding matching funds to the “seed” money pot. But, thanks to this person, Village Home Care is starting to provide a pick-up and delivery service to your home of food and prescription drugs. One of our caregivers will pick-up your groceries or prescription drugs and deliver them to your door. We estimate the cost to us will be about $12.00 (wages and gas mileage). However, if you use this service, we are only asking that you make a donation to help us “pay it forward”.
We are here to help you, so you will not have to leave your home or possibly be exposed to someone who may have the Corona Virus.
What to do:
1. Call our office at 922-2224 and schedule your pick-up for a Monday, Wednesday or Friday at either 11:00AM or 3:00PM. Office hours: 9-4 daily.
2. After you receive your pick-up time, contact Walmart at https://grocery.walmart.com/ or Brookshires Curbside pick-up at www.brookshires.com/home-delivery and order your food for pick-up at your scheduled time. Call us back with your order number.
3. If you have a prescription you will need to pre-pay it and tell us which drug store it is at.
4. Relax and leave the driving to us.
